Nice and tingly!, 2008-07-12
It took me several years of passing over this product, because I was a little put off on the weird space-ship is landing language that is crammed onto the bottle. I regret having waited so long to finally give this product a try! I bought a small bottle on a whim, and brought it home and my husband said "oh that is that crazy soap you said you'd never buy!" Well... this crazy soap is the best kept secret on the market! I soaped up a scrunchie in the shower, and lavished the deep and exhilarating scent of peppermint wafting in my shower. My skin definitely tingled with a cool sensation. A word of caution to the ladies: make sure you are prepared for the cool, almost burning sensation that happens when you use this product "down there". I was waiting for a burning sensation to happen, but it never came. It simply tingled, like a cool winter morning.
This is not a good product to use on your hair - unless you have very very short hair, and don't require a conditioner. Stick to using it on the skin, and you will be greatly satisfied. My husband loves this soap and loves the way it makes him squeaky clean, but with a nice neutral after scent. The peppermint smell doesn't linger for more than about a half hour after showering. But it definitely wakes you up in the morning.

I love this soap, 2008-05-29
I tend to have dry skin, so I was buying body washes with moisturizers. They did soften my skin, but I wanted something that would just clean without drying. This product has lived up to the reviews, and the Vitamin Shoppe price is the best. I don't clean my floors, windows, dishes, etc. with it, nor do I use it as shampoo or toothpaste, as some other reviewers have. I never intended to. I just wanted a good bath soap that wouldn't dry my skin and this soap does exactly that. The peppermint is so refreshing, and my skin is simply clean. I can rub my hand over my skin and it doesn't "skip" as it does with some moisturizing body washes. My skin is clean, soft, not dried out, and it just feels healthy. I did heed warnings from other reviewers and I haven't used it on the uh.. more delicate parts of my body, due to the peppermint. I'm planning to order the Dr. Bonner's Almond as well... that will do great for underarm shaving and "naughty bits".

Mamma Likey!, 2008-05-17
I like this soap. It doesn't irritate my skin. Did I mention it's like your whole body ate a mint!! I don't think I'd brush my teeth with it like someone suggested, but it's a nice eye-opener in the morning when you're sleepy!

I love Dr Bronners Organic Castile soap. , 2008-05-09
I wish there were better instructions on the bottle but great product. I have used it to wash my dog. I've put it on stained clothes and a few other things.

Love it!, 2008-05-05
I love this product, it's perfect for camping. You can use it for anything! I tried using it as a deoderant and it gave me a bad rash, so I would suggest trying it out before you leave for a camping trip, with it as your only form of deo! Other than that though, it was great!
